have accomplished and the great things they are doing now.
A few weeks after visiting the tasting room, I had the
opportunity to interview Curran and D’Alfonso at
their winery. I was excited and nervous — interviewing
these two winemakers for me was like an avid Dodger fan
getting the opportunity to sit down with Tommy Lasorda
and talk baseball.

A Firm Belief in Science
Just Luxe
Their dedication to the scientific side
of winemaking has produced consistent wines that are balanced

are currently bottling them under four different labels.
DiBruno wines showcase Italian varietals, D’Alfonso˜Curran
wines are single vineyard–designated wines, BADGE
wines are strictly Pinot Noirs and Chardonnays, and the
Curran label features Spanish varieties. Curran has shifted
from Rhône to Spanish wines because, Kris confesses, “I’ve
fallen in love with Spanish varietals.”
